I called him earlier today. He was taking it easy and I seemed to be interrupting him, Steve and Chance were going swimming this afternoon which I remember being a bigger undertaking in the Midwest unlike Central Texas. I could hear Chance in the background, he seemed pretty excited as all children his age are about going to the pool.
This year is going to be low key. He recently returned from the Chicago comic book show which isn’t as big as San Diego but at least it’s still around and now takes place later in the Summer. Matters appear to be going pretty well on the art front and he’ll be keeping Somara and me informed on the further adventures of Athena Voltaire. Steve has some other irons in the fire yet I don’t want to jinx them until they’re announced.
