You were there? Hell, I was there! Row three. I was the guy in the black triangle-y facepaint akin to what The Big Guy sported in the scene where they snuck into Thusla Dooms’ lair to steal back the princess. I’ll shoot you a pic. I had no idea you were going.

Not to wax too long, but Conan for me is and was a very important movie. Yes, the acting is pretty darn spotty in some parts. But the overall effect is for me, unmatched by other genre films. And the music! Oh the music! Still to this day I hear snippets of the soundtrack in trailers of other movies and in other video productions. Hell, just yesterday while watching a documentary about Monet, in the background for about two minutes was part of the track “The Search” from the Conan soundtrack.

Oh, and I was fortunate enough to see the movie in all its 1982 glory back when I was 12 years old. My folks took me to the theater. Ahhh, my wonderful parents. Alien, Jaws, Excalibur, Conan, Bond flims, it did not matter. If they wanted to see it, I tagged along. Blood, gore, sex, be damned! As long as I kept my mouth shut during the movie, I could go to just about anything they went to.

The Alamo Experience brought alot of good memories back for me. I’m glad you got to experience some of that magic too, Steve!

Hmm, looks like they need more water. Yep! That’s the ticket but the dirt also gets rid of bugs/parasites and is considered a bath by a lot of animals. I think horses typically do it the most.

Hi Steve, we missed you at Dragon’s Lair, Kim and I took the kids around and have pictures too. We also met Peter Mayhew. We drove by Austin Comics on Lamar and it was packed so we kept going. Got lots of free comics!

The only reason we changed Kuroneko’s name was the shelter named her Juicy. It wouldn’t have been a horrible name, except that she felt the need to live up to it; and living up to kuroneko is a lot less messy than “juicy” (luckily, we figured out what was creating the “juicy” condition pretty quickly).

As the end draws near, I’m feeling the “sadness”. As nothing will be what idisk was. Scrambling for a replacement. There are tons of clouds sharing everywhere yet, it is not the same. I’m like a clouds junkie, trying this and doing that. It is like being with this person for a while now, sharing address, emails, photos, files and even finding my iPhone. And knowing where things are exactly. Now, it’s like a part of it has left and I have to split it with someone else and there’s always something to pick on with the substitute, always comparing with the old. “Drop box is ok but I don’t like the interface, sugar sync, is ok but the linking is.. hmm.. “. It’s better off with everything together. Cant’ we just get along and be like how it was?

I love the Muppets. Since the puppet comes with all interchangeable features, it reminds me of that toy in the Seventies, “HUGO – The Man of a Thousand Faces” but with the new HUGO movie which I have yet to see, I don’t know if you like that name…

I do like the checkered suit and have to say, “WINK MARTINDALE” comes to mind…I like that name better…Blanche and Wink, from Wauwatosa. :)

Lil’ Alex has been watching Sesame Street this weekend…I need to get one of these! He seems to really like several of the puppets, especially the monsters!

And on a side note…I actually still like that show…made me laugh more then once…I was surprised

I am being penalized for my creativity? Hmmmph! I guess I will have to see what Jack comes up with since he tends to give things funny names like his fish “Little Jeff” or the cat he named Swag.
