Good riddance to Peter “the not-so Great” Forsberg

Just as I headed out the door with my last post, I saw the news. Seems Forsberg received it after the pre-game skate too. The useless, injury-prone, indecisive and worst, Team, Captain, ever, was traded to Nashville! My fellow Detroit-fan/friend also breathed a huge sigh of relief. Let one of the three teams in NASS-CARR (say it with a hillbilly accent) territory eat his ridiculous salary for two months. I guarantee the Preds will be knocked out in the first round as he sits out half the games because his groin hurts again or his skates don’t fit. Then we can hope no GM in his right mind picks him up after July 1 because he said he will not look at any offers until he’s a free agent. He sounded bitter over Philly dealing him.
