When I bought my house, it came with two trees in the front yard. Little did I know the sub-par labor that planted them packed the roots too tightly on one. Eventually the tree closest to the driveway died after a decade of struggle. We had plans to remove the giant dead stick but a very cold and windy day made the decision for us Tuesday. The poor thing snapped at its trunk.
Fear not, the tree didn’t fall on anyone or anything important. My in-laws graciously came by today to chop it up. Then they hauled away the parts no one will use for firewood, namely my cool neighbor and trainer Niko.
Next up…tree shopping!
