Michael has been a frequent guest of Austin’s WizWorld but I decided to finally meet him because I seriously enjoyed his portrayal of Earle from The Walking Dead. At the beginning, he was a cartoon character, the redneck racist sowing discord amongst the survivors. By the end, Earle was more complicated and in his own, brutal manner, he died trying to do the right thing by Rick’s band.
He also provided the voice of an allegedly crooked sheriff from Gilette’s past on Archer, yet another plot twist you’ll have to watch.
Then there was his Yondu character from Guardians of the Galaxy. Of course I stumbled upon a few other things I need to look up or re-watch, namely, he was in Tombstone. Probably on the “bad guys” side led by Powers Boothe.
