My cat Agamemnon likes Chef Boyardee sauce

I had a lazy lunch today, my favorite since 1988, a can of Chef Boyardee Ravioli…as is. Now I’m accustomed to Aggie liking canned chili but the rather sweet sauce drowning the dozen ravioli was a surprise because cats allegedly can’t taste sugary stuff. So there must be something else at work in it. Tomatoes? Starch? Unknown cat nip?
