Quite a great week for new T-shirts in the Maggi household! The first one I grabbed for Somara at Hot Topic as a consolation gift for me driving all the way to Slaughter Lane (way south in Austin) to eat at the the city’s first Steak n’ Shake. Hey, I had to go to Barton Creek Mall anyway to get the Express Airport device serviced. While I was killing time, I saw the shirt and had to get it for her. Despite it being an XL, it’s a baby-doll tee so it’s actually snug on Somara thus I cropped the catalog photo from Hot Topic’s web site so you don’t think she has tattoos (she doesn’t, that’s the model’s arm). Cheese is one of the funnier characters from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends which means she’ll have to wear this shirt when the first season is out on DVD, early March.
The other one is being worn by yours truly. As much as I would like to have a T-shirt of Batman trying to dispose of the rude little Moonite, this design from Cotton Press is equally funny. I got rid of my “Drink apple juice, ‘cause OJ will kill you” shirt to make room for this timely joke.
