It’s late Summer which means it’s catsitting time again! Actually, catsitting for our friends the Lowrys is a year-round matter I always enjoy because I’m addicted to petting cats. They usually go on vacation in the Summer to escape the peak “heat season” of Central Texas for a while. This round of catsitting involves giving their cat Angel some special medicine thanks to him eating something that was best left alone while he was wandering in their yard. Oh he’s in good spirits and his usual ornery self with me (we aren’t on good terms lately since I won’t let him go out anymore, he has a tendency not to come home until late, late into the evening).
I had to take this picture of Angel curled up with the magazine since it made him appear more literate than he is. Even if cats could read, they’d probably only use this ability to read what flavor of food is in the can, bag or box. Most of the time, he is a well-behaved cat, just very vocal in his dissatisfaction when denied his “getting back to nature” expeditions.
