Austin’s playoff run ended last night in Odessa but at least they made it close with a 1-0 loss. The Odessa Jackalopes move on probably to face the formidable Laredo Bucks, the team I think that has the best shot at winning the President’s Cup.
I didn’t attend as many games as I wished yet the several I did were pretty decent, the two nail biters especially. Now the players will probably have a final practice, clean out their lockers, meet with the coach and owner about next season and then they probably head home, usually Canada. Hopefully there will be a next year despite the Cedar Park nonsense. I would prefer a winning team but affordable, entertaining live hockey is a bargain if the visitors are talented.
The movie hasn’t been started due to life getting in the way (it’s a weekend project), I hope you enjoy the team photo for the interim.
