Editor’s Note: Remember this is in the Lost Tales section, it happened during the server’s downtime. I could’ve let the incident go but we have yet to receive a decent follow-up from the other driver’s insurance company.
I’m definitely certain our Honda Fit is cursed. For the third year in a row we’ve been hit by another driver. It was deja vu all over again from two angles, the second being the nature of this accident…I had it over 19 years ago. Hopefully our car insurance company won’t say it was my fault like those crooks at Farmer’s. The lady who hit me made a bad estimate on the red light I was waiting at. I think the gravel on McNeil didn’t help neither. The damage you can see in the photo was a relief. How much noise was made and the energy her car transferred into mine was proportionally greater.
Somara and I are reasonable, we just want the damage to the bumper fixed. Last time I was hit, my back was on fire hours later. That was solved with a quick trip to the doctor, a diagnosis of torn muscles and some awesome painkillers. We don’t want the driver’s insurance to get jacked or taken away.
Geez, I hope this all got resolved with the insurance company.
