So much for getting any writing done, especially since it has been an eventful week, month and year despite being sick.
I thought I would have better luck after completing a series of necessary errands around Austin on Saturday. Then to celebrate, we went swimming in the pool belonging to the people we’re housesitting for. Oddly, I was stung in the mouth by a mosquito and it caused my lips to swell up a la Mick Jagger. My speech, breathing and all else didn’t seem to be affected. To bring my lips back to normal, I had to hit the antihistamines pretty hard. This resulted in a rather sleepy Sunday.
In short, brace yourself for a flood for June…if all goes well.
Since June is also Superman’s official 75th birthday month, I will be correcting the banner (or header). I will always keep Dazed and Confused present as a placeholder because Austin is my home. Originally I was shooting for a “school’s out” theme.
