Good news for June with my health!

Today I called the Pflugerville branch of Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) to follow up on my disability paperwork (an Apple policy when you’ve been as ill as I have). I wanted to make sure the doctor who treated me for my recent sulfameth allergy completed it. The nurse said had to put me on hold to check and when she got back, I was told I can pick it up ASAP. However, the nurse had additional good news. My recent blood test came back negative for anything awful! While I was living through the allergic reaction, there was a lot of protein in my blood. This made me worried because I was told something similar during my physical, then it went away; the focus shifted to diabetes. Now the possibility of kidney failure was back to the forefront. Not anymore. The doctor concluded the protein situation came from my immune system going berserk from the antibiotic I couldn’t handle.

To celebrate, I’m starting a new poll. Maybe it’ll get a better response. A countdown for something cooler will will follow later, I’m somewhat tired and it’s getting late.
