There was a sale at the Converse Store on the day I returned to get a pair exchanged, and yes, the nice young lady from last time rushed to the back to see what arrived in a size 11. However, the sale element was used to give a little gift to my co-worker Aaron the filmmaker. His oldest daughter digs Batgirl but I’ve had no luck finding those Chucks in her size. They did have this bitchin’ Batman v. Joker pair in a size 2 (kid sizes are even more alien than adults, yet another argument on why Americans need to get over their aversion to the metric system for everyday use). The Chucks are a tad big which isn’t an issue because kids are constantly growing. Gomer was generous enough to show them off for me as a thank you gift. She is going to be one of the coolest kids in her class. Gomer has a pink shirt with the Bat symbol on it to match!
