Homer’s catchphrases: “Woo-Hoo!” for left, “D’oh!” for right.
I saved wearing my favorite Simpsons character until 7/29. I remember the days when I was younger than Homer, now I’m much older. For those who don’t follow the show (anymore), Homer is permanently 38. These are also the best set Converse did because each shoe (or foot?) is unique as the picture above shows. The Web page didn’t show the “Woo-Hoo!” so I figured it would be exclusively annoyed grunt. I’m good with the equivalent of Homer’s ying and yang.
Much like the Bart pair, they customized the rubber part and they came with black laces. No luck finding anything the right shade of yellow at the Converse Store.

Shit talk the TV show all you want. Even the most hardened naysayer has to admit these shoes were overdue and they’re really impressive.
