Practically 50 days to get all this body work done. Not due to the great shop (we’ve been there four times now, we’re practically family!). Not due to there being a shortage of parts. All because the jerk who hit us has dragged her ass with her insurance company. Our insurer has done all it can, namely footing as much of the bill they could plus I have a feeling they’ll be suing the hitter’s company for their money. Meanwhile, I dread the long, drawn-out stiffing we’ll be experiencing with the hitter. Sure the law is on our side and the judge will say she needs to pay but you can’t get blood from a stone. Let’s see. I want to be optimistic yet I think we’re going to be screwed on getting back what we’re owed on this: the deductible we had to pay and the rental cars. In our defense, we pushed for cheap rentals, nothing crazy.
It’s great to have the Honda back though.
Next step, test drives to check for anything the dealership may need to fix in the mechanical/electronic sections. I do recall the gas tank’s ballast being inaccurate after the accident.
