A great piece of news in the ongoing, annoying saga involving the Honda getting smacked a week before we went to Las Vegas. We finally got our money from that asshole’s insurance company over the car rentals. It wan’t the full amount because they said they weren’t liable for the insurance we purchased. However, after months and their client being an irresponsible loser who drives while on her phone, I’ll take it.
Just in time too. We owed the IRS again this year. Don’t fret for us. We have money put away when such financial emergencies happen so we didn’t suffer. Now we’re in the process of rebuilding our safety net in case another unexpected expense happens.
Off it went to the reserve! I wonder if that insurance company knew I was headed to Las Vegas next week like the $1200 GOP hail mary we received in 2008?
