My favorite sister-in-law celebrates whatever. I only know she’s younger but a trooper to wrangle three boys, especially when two must be home-schooled. Appears that education isn’t a high priority in Qatar for accommodating foreigners. Anje has a degree in teaching so I bet this is relatively manageable, it’s just harder when they’re your kids. How relieved I remain today. Dad quit teaching early!
Now why is Anje my favorite sister-in-law? I only have three thankfully. Linda (Brian’s wife) is nice but I’ve never had a long conversation or anything with her, this puts her in the “No Opinion/Not Enough Information” column. Yvette (Somara’s younger sister) and I don’t get along after the Madison-biting-Uncle-Steve incident along with how DINKs allegedly have fewer rights in the Bridge-a-verse. Plus I find her to be a mean person overall. Being the mother of four kids is not an excuse.
Enough though, it’s Anje’s day. I’m hoping she had (Qatar is half a day ahead) great day. The weather was fantastic (39° C!), the beach is always open and there’s plenty of Western restaurants. Today gives me a good excuse to hit the Apple Cafe for a piece of cake, I’ll e-mail a picture of it to her.
