Somara likes to blame me whenever she comes down with a cold so I guess this was her revenge. Last week she dodged getting seriously ill while I weathered it just fine…until the temperature around Austin plummeted and I woke up with pink eye in my right eye. I did take all the measures I could to prevent the spread. Firstly, it’s spread by contact, it’s not an airborne thing. The doctor I saw at work got me signed up for some drops. They’re slowly working yet it hopped over to my left eye. This is the worst case I’ve ever had too, it feels like paper cuts around my eye lids.
What sucked even more was how this put a huge kink into my day-off plans. The only thing I was able to follow through on was seeing the new Dumber and Dumber To flick. I’m going to miss Ben’s cool birthday party at this place called the Toybrary, all those toys, you know I would’ve been having a blast. I also had done all my homework for running the D&D game this evening.
I should be “cured” by the time we hit the movies on Sunday.
