My little weasel cat from the Salado apartment days is celebrating what may be her last birthday with us. As of today Miette is 16 years old, probably older since her origin is unknown being a stray cat. She was also diagnosed with an overactive thyroid last year so the poor little thing is always hungry yet she’s skin and bones. Other side effects have been matted fur (common in elderly cats) and Miette is more aggressive to eat human food than ever. Despite her condition, she remains a sweet kitty. I can only hope to get another year with Miette. She is a funny counter to Molly and Isis.
