My third kitty and currently the youngest of our household trio celebrates what we guess is her seventh birthday. Whatever it may actually be, the day we were allowed to officially adopt her from a rough life outdoors was declared her new birthday.
Isis is still skittish during fireworks and thunderstorms but we’ve had progress with her sleeping on the bed while we’re relaxing or sleeping. The tower in the living room remains Isis’ favorite hang out. My favorite bit with her is letting her roll around at the top, waiting to pet her because if you don’t do it right away, she’ll pause and make a cute “mew!” noise meaning, “c’mon already!”
She’s in good health and I’m confident Isis will be with us for at least another decade.
