Like most cats, Satine is slightly conditioned to hang around our porch because there’s a chance of free food. The weather has warmed up so it isn’t to sleep in the cat cave I bought Miguel.
I have gained some trust. She will come up to the door as I place the food down. I even got the chance to stroke her head and back without hissing or fleeing. Satine’s fur is dry and rough which tells me she doesn’t eat regularly.
Now the bigger concern. Is the orange tabby who is sometimes seen with her the boyfriend and is she pregnant. I overheard a couple fights which can mean they were fights or it was cat reproduction, something I’ve heard isn’t pleasant for female cats.
If kittens are in the cards, the upside is Satine possibly remembering me for help. This contributed to Isis (nee Princess) showing up regularly at my door. Cats aren’t dumb.
