Once again, the party of small gubmint which is a dog whistle for the Neo-Confederacy, plans to pardon convicted murderer Perry. Abbott’s colostomy bag must be backed up as it’s filling up his brain with more than the usual amount of shit; “self defense” my ass. Once again, facts and evidence are just inconvenient to the Republicans which was proven beyond doubt via Perry’s phone alone. What am I saying. Republicans took a big crap on facts when they nominated Goldwater for POTUS.
Meanwhile, our horrible governor plans to push for a law which will make it legal for drivers to run over protestors much like Meatball Ron has in the Banana Theocracy of Florida. Can’t wait to see their heads explode when someone runs over and kills a bunch of so-called Pro Lifers! Hey, they were threatening the driver! They were in the right-of-way, the driver felt threatened and had to drive their ground…and back over them to make sure they were dead.
Not all hope is lost. Perry was an active soldier so the Army will be taking their crack at him next. There may be White Power infiltration within their ranks but murdering a “veteran” (Foster had served in the Air Force) while off duty isn’t something they cannot ignore nor let go unpunished. Ergo, Gov. Shitbag is only doing this cynically to maintain his credibility with MAGAts and Ammosexuals while having his turd cake and eating it too. This horrible event continues to drive home a cold, hard fact. The states with the least gun control lead in gun deaths, suicides excluded. But hey, certain people will always need their metal penises to compensate for poor self-esteem, poor intelligence and inability to think in light of new realities.
I think he’s probably doing it to soothe is wounded ego from earlier in the week; rural-based Republicans joined the Democrats in the Texas House on voting down his latest push on bait-and-switch school funding, the Orwellian “choice” bill. The Texas Senate is more on the take as they voted “yes,” but if the House won’t budge, Gov. Shitbag will have to call a special session…again, so much for small gubmint. Or his corporate masters must buy off more members in the ’24 cycle or set up another, more brazen gerrymander. The latter is the main reason why the Republicans are in power despite the urban population swelling to the point they can only cheat.
