Last night we celebrated Aaron and Wyatt’s birthdays (my Aggie brother-in-law and his middle son respectively). I can’t remember the exact dates but Sunday evenings tend to be the days everyone manages to swing at my in-law’s place. Aaron received a couple of practical gifts and a copy of Guitar Hero 2 because he’s quite good at it even though he’s more into Country and doesn’t recognize most of the rockers. Wyatt is now four and as the movie demonstrates, he’s still totally into superheroes. I know I ridiculed the inflatable-Superman-muscles kit last Summer because some poor comic-book fan would continue to lose his lunch money over it. Heck, I think the bullies would take the fan for their own personal AC use. Wyatt really enjoys these gizmos. I envy him a little. When my brother and I were little kids, we had to settle for beach towels attached to our shirts with safety pins as capes. The adults weren’t too thrilled when we used the dishwashing gloves to nail down the Batman and Robin look.
