It’s official after all the rumors, hearsay and half truths, a decision has been made and a sign posted. The landlord believes that the property is worth more rent despite the highway construction being scheduled for another two years. I side with Kenny and Scott because I have worked there for five years and the construction has eaten away the shop’s traffic to just our diehards.
What will happen to me? I don’t really know. I’ll bug the bosses, see if I can make the hop over to the other store near Wells Branch, which is closer to my house.
