Valentine treats 2008

Did everyone have a nice Valentine’s Day? That includes all the Single people, not just the Married and Involved couples. Besides Somara’s latest confectionary creations in the above photo, we had a pretty relaxing, memorable time. Definitely a more enjoyable holiday than the ones preceding what used to be Lupercalia; it doesn’t require so much shopping, decorating or “mandatory” parties. 
 
These little cakes [for a lack of a better term, they’re not tarts, no fruit] went over very well with their purchaser. Somara had some left over to give away to my co-workers and friends. I know they were a hit because I received requests for seconds as I hoarded one last cake to give Bryant during our lunch hour.
