Picayune has had intermittent freak outs and then I took it down to put a different piece of hardware to experiment with.
The good news is it wasn’t hardware nor the core OS, what a relief!
The bad news is I had to remove a plug-in which is supposed to keep the spamming down. As much as I hate those mother-f’ers, the other plug-in seems to do a good job classifying their nonsense into the spam bucket so I can delete them later. Performance is fine. It won’t affect any of my few readers/followers.
