Roy Wood Jr.

Last comedy show of the year and it’s with another great wit from The Daily Show. You probably know Roy as the current Senior Black Correspondent who’s had funny positions about the NFL and HBO’s possible Confederacy show. The club must’ve recognized my name from the streak I had been showing up for (Rita Rudner, Michele Wolf and the Sklar Brothers) since I had a table against the stage.

Roy didn’t disappoint, I about pissed myself with his funny stories: arguments about how compromise between the sexes causes the creation of new gadgets, faith healers and mediums summoning dead relatives. I knew he loves to cover sports and I wasn’t let down, he called me out for my Green Bay jersey saying I just put it away so it will be clean next year. I laughed but he followed up with how hard it is to be a Dolphins fan, to paraphrase, they’re terrible and if you show up early wearing a jersey, they make you start.

If you get the chance, watch Roy’s stand-up material.

A sign of solidarity with Aaron Rodgers through our broken collar bones.
