After all the pins and needles involving my house’s foundation repair being a condition to getting the mortgage refinanced (in case you forgot, when divorcing, you have to do this to get the other person off the debt), followed by a key person NOT being in on Monday…I received the e-mail very late yesterday saying it’s all going forward.
Next up, waiting for the time, date and place to sign everything. Then figure out how the money will be distributed to pay off the old mortgage, give Somara a portion and the rest going to me to regain all the breathing room I lost in the divorce.
I can actually start looking at my repair list seriously too!
