According to my personal datebook, Chance’s birthday is today. He’s a very lucky young man to have a father who can draw really well because kids are very precise on what they want in a superhero piece. His dad is my longtime friend Steve, a very talented guy and great all around dude.
I will have to make a phone call or something to see what’s the plan this weekend. Will it be a trip to see Toy Story in 3-D? A Wii tournament? Or maybe something exciting like a trip to a go-kart track.
Then again, I might be out of touch on what kids his age really dig. I will be taking my Georgetown-based nephews Hunter and Wyatt to D&B on Monday, maybe they can give me some insight on what Chance is into. I’m confident the Ben 10 thing has run its course.
