First Japan, now New York, I wonder if Austin will get one eventually. The real nagging question I have is how did the owners succeed in negotiating with the Health Examiners on allowing this. The place probably doesn’t serve any serious food but any animals are a concern. Around here you can have shop cats, namely the two famous cats at Dragon’s Lair (they love books!) and I remember an antique store on the South Side.
Should I ever get to New York, this place will be on my short list with a good Broadway show and Alex Guarnaschelli’s restaurant Butter.
