Next up from my fun time at GACC, meeting actor Tony Todd! Tony is a staple in numerous Sci-Fi TV shows (Stargate, Babylon 5, The Flash) but he’s probably best known to the general public as titular character in the Candyman Horror flicks, maybe in TV dramas too: 24, Chuck. My favorite role and it’s the photo I went with…Jake Sisko when he’s an adult on Deep Space Nine.
Tony is gigantic in person! He was very personable and I thanked him for all the great shows he’s been in, again, namely being Jake because Captain Benjamin Sisko is my favorite Star Trek commander. Why? He is the only captain to be married and suffered great personal loss while trying to raise a son.
