RIP: Arleen Sorkin
Sad to see two key voices in Batman’s animated resurgence pass. First, Kevin Conroy, probably one of the three best Batman voices (Adam West and Diedrich Bader). Now we lost the first Harley Quinn. I knew the Joker’s number one … Continue reading
RIP Johnny Hardwick
Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Stupid Twitter got me again. I saw the tag on the right hoping it was good news about the upcoming King of the Hill revival but no, it was the sad news on how Johnny … Continue reading
RIP Paul “Pee-wee Herman” Reubens
CRAP! I hate it when a link on Twitter leads to bad news but those bastards behind Social Media got us! Now to wait for the Fresh Air episode of when he was a guest. Paul was a very talented Comedian … Continue reading

Bugs Bunny is 83!
To counter my digs at someone else, let’s hear it for my animal-spirit guide! You know I’m wearing one of my three pairs of Chucks featuring him too. I really also want to say “You’re doing a great job” to … Continue reading
Out There
Before Justin Roiland was finally outed and cancelled as the horrible, horrible despicable person he has always been, he was a principle character’s voice in a short-lived cartoon on IFC by Ryan Quincy. Out There was Quincy’s semi-autobiographical show about teen … Continue reading
Scoob!
Gotta’ work on the new logo above for Pandemic Theater‘s replacement or really what existed before CV-19. Of course I know the virus is still spreading and continues to be dangerous; the goddess Capitalism decided it’s over as we’ve been forced … Continue reading
RIP Kevin Conroy
Sad to hear the person who was the voice of Batman for several decades passed away. Adam West put his mark on the character but Kevin really made Batman synonymous with him since he landed the role for the 1992 afternoon … Continue reading

1997: The Cartoon Network matures! Part 2: New shows!
The Header should be showing significant changes that reflect all the shows the Cartoon Network began to add and/or create year by year. In 1997, the channel was now home to brand new material created by the Hanna-Barbera Studio thanks … Continue reading
1992: The Cartoon Network begins! Part 1: The salad years
Cartoon and Cable Television history were made on this day! Oddly, I was living in a market lucky enough to have it on day one. I used to feel the same way about the Sci-Fi Channel but everybody soured on … Continue reading

RIP David Warner
Such a shame to see David go! Another great Shakespeare-trained actor who went on to have an incredible Sci-Fi resume: two Star Trek movies (V and VI – Klingon Chancellor Gorkon is the most memorable), Star Trek: the Next Generation (Gul Madrid), Babylon … Continue reading

Craig McCracken returns to the Cartoon Network!
After all the shit storms going down and the oppressive heat, it was great to see some great news through Variety, Craig McCracken will be involved with rebooting (or continuing) his two earliest creations from his long career…The Powerpuff Girls and Foster’s Home … Continue reading

Bob’s Burgers the Movie: Must See!
I’m putting this movie ahead of my stalled queue entailing all the crap I’m behind on, it’s a short list since Covid and money kept me from hitting Alamo very much in 2021. Bob’s Burgers the Movie will probably be … Continue reading
Meet my Mission Hill avatar or self?
I know what you’re thinking! You’re thinking, “What? How exactly is that you? You also look like a dirty Hippie! Is this some kind of fantasy?” The short answer is, NO. I despise Hippies since the majority were Boomers and … Continue reading
Futurama is back baby! Again, no wait, maybe, take your pick
Yesterday’s announcement stating that Hulu ordered 20 new episodes of Futurama on the day Netflix released Disenchantment‘s latest 10 (making it the fourth season), sounded rather auspicious to me. Does this mean Disenchantment is over given how impatient Netflix is? They have cancelled … Continue reading
A PSA Cartoon Network needs, Nickelodeon too
Of course, we now live in an era when there are certain morons who take offense at this illustration since, well, some Nazis were actually fine people. HA! This is a lie perpetuated by Albert Speer, the architect for Hitler … Continue reading
